The story takes place in a country that’s a mishmash of many Asian countries, with inspiration ranging from China to India, going through Nepal, Bhutan, Vietnam, etc. India’s caste system in particular is a big influence on the story.

Green Mechanic
The story takes place in a future where outside of main cities the earth is just a bunch of deserts littered in trash and the average life expectancy is 35 years of age. The main character, Misha, is a teenage girl with the ability to sense other people’s feelings. Due to that, she doesn’t go out much and tends to keep to herself, as it can be quite overwhelming.
Chiisakobe
It’s well drawn, with a cast of flawed, quirky but nice characters and the story told feels focused on the growth of the characters through their interactions and how they come to understand each others.

Chiisakobe [Volume 1]
This is the start of a pretty weird daily life that opens up windows into the past of the characters, be it through flashbacks or through verbal exchanges that reveal more about the character’s personalities and it was a damn blast to read.
